Fantastic blog post, great guest, fun books! Has any child who had freckles or red hair ever had it easy? Great idea for a book!

I wonder. Being the mother of a redheaded child, I can vouch for the fact that, although she might not have been the victim of a lot of teasing for her red hair, she certainly stood out in a crowd! Worse thing for her is the fair skin and how she has to be ultra-protective of it in the sun.

What life throws at them — I like that and it fits the dodgeball story very well Isn’t it funny how some “children’s books” can resonate with us at any age. Many of us disliked gym and dodgeball – so she has definitely found a way to touch a nerve. I definitely encourage visitors to watch the videos with Julianne as she tells us about her life as a child and as a mother
